About Us
Mission of the GIEST
Global Institute of Emerging Security Technology (GIEST) is an independent think tank engaged in international affairs and security research based on trends in cutting-edge advanced technology.
In the 21st century, the development of technical fields such as the internet, robotics and AI (Artificial Intelligence) has caused a great change in the dynamics of international politics and security.
However, this is not the first time that such a turning point has occurred. For example, the European industrial revolution from the 18th century to the end of the 1900s; the practical development of aircraft in the early 20th century; the introduction of nuclear weapons at the end of World War II, etc. have greatly changed international relations throughout history.
GIEST aggregates the knowledge of the world and explores what is going on in the world right now and what will happen in the future.
Activities
GIEST conducts research and analysis with our members based on the aforementioned objectives and philosophy.
Specifically, we promote interaction between academics through study workshops, roundtables and symposiums.
Subsequently, we disseminate research results via online content and publicly available materials including online subscribers. Simultaneously, GIEST also deals with educational and consulting businesses.
